I'm an author, poet, inspirational/motivational speaker, freelance writer, humanitarian, teacher, personal coach, mentor, and more... following each of these paths with insatiable PASSION! I have enjoyed a wonderful life, filled with adventure, passion and purpose. Each day I strive to make the world a better place while I'm here, and to hopefully leave a worthwhile legacy long after I'm gone.

I strive to be a 'Soft Person'. What is a soft person? Soft people are those who are, well, 'SOFT'. Soft peple are lolving, kind, empathetic, caring, understanding, giving, and spiritual. Soft people see their own inner beauty, and they help those around them see their inner beauty. The people they are around leave feeling good about themselves. I remember a quote I once read that I thought was very profound, of which I will always remember becasue it is so true.

"People do not remember what you did for them,
but they remember how you made them feel."

I was born and grew up in a small town in Utah, south of Salt Lake City. It was a wonderfully fun place to grow up; a place where I could do the things I loved most... riding horses and snow skiing. The foothills were just a short distance from my backyard. In the summer my friends and I would start out at sunrise and ride our horses all day long on the backside of the foothills. We would not come home until sunset. And of course in the winter we spent our weekends skiing the beautiful Wasatch Mountains, with Mount Timpanogos over looking the small figures below.

I enjoyed writing, taking creative writing and speech classes in school. When ever I had the opportunity I would spend my time writing.

I graduated from the University of Arizona Certified Public Managers Program. Although my education was focused on Business Administration, my first love was anything that brought out my creative side.

I have worked for a number of years in the computer field as an Information Security Analyst, also doing WEB design part time. Along with my technical expertise, I am a poet, author and artist.

I live in Arizona, with my husband and my cat Angel. I have been blessed with two grown sons, a beautiful daughter-in-law and two adorable grandsons. I also have a Grand Cat, Hank and a Grand Dog, Reagan.
